Isaac Savage – Founder and PresidentA Western North Carolina native, Isaac founded Home Energy Partners in 2002 with an initial focus on diagnosing building performance problems with existing homes. That concentration has grown into full service Building Performance contracting under Isaac’s leadership. By 2006 he had led the company to become one of the top 25 Icynene dealerships in the country. In 2010, he lead the company into a new role within the industry - HERS Rater & BPI training. Home Energy Partners is now the only RESNET Accredited Training Provider in the WNC region and is also a BPI Training Affiliate.. Isaac is a graduate of UNC-Greensboro. He is Vice-Chair of the Board for Western North Carolina Green Building Council and is a widely published author and frequent lecturer on Building Science and related topics.

Dick Olsen – COOJoining the company in 2007 to manage overall operations, Dick is a 30-year veteran of the construction and real estate development industries. He has been directly responsible for the construction of over 2500 single family homes, 4200 apartment units and 100,000 sf of commercial building. In 2006 Dick sold a 4600-unit portfolio of apartment properties in Atlanta and Tampa that his partnership had acquired and renovated. Dick is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and currently guest lectures on Real Estate Economics at GeorgiaStateUniversity.

Kyle Brown – Building Science ManagerProviding primary consultation, design and building science evaluation services, Kyle is an OhioUniversity graduate with a Master’s Degree in Building Science. He joined Home Energy Partners in 2007 after gaining hands-on construction experience in Western North Carolina. Since that time Kyle has expanded the company’s services to include comprehensive HVAC system design and has grown certification services to include LEED for Homes and NAHB Green.

Doug Rostick – Building Performance Specialist Initially serving as a staff HERS rater, Doug was promoted to providing direct client representation in 2008. He joined Home Energy Partners  after having operated his own building certification business. In addition to being a HERS Rater, Doug is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in North Carolina. He is a graduate of ClemsonUniversity.

Ryan Gore – Building Performance SpecialistAs a licensed general contractor in North Carolina, Ryan has an extensive construction background with particular emphasis on renovation and remodeling. He joined the HEP team in early 2009 and adds a strong experience component to client service. Ryan is a graduate of SamfordUniversity, Birmingham, Alabama.

Production StaffField management and production crews are experienced, factory-trained installers of Icynene and cellulose insulation products. Using state-of-the-art equipment, installations are scheduled and executed to comply with strict performance standards.
